Overview

Notion Stressless ("the extension") is designed with your privacy in mind. This policy explains what data the extension accesses, stores, and transmits. The extension's features include Notion AI Everywhere, Speed Boost, Lock mode, and Version Control (VCS) & Diff View.

Data accessed

The extension accesses data when you trigger a comparison, when VCS tracking is active, and when you use Notion AI Everywhere on a web page.

Data stored locally

The following data is stored on your device only (browser storage: chrome.storage.local, and session/local storage for caching) and is never transmitted to any third party.

API key — Stored in obfuscated form. Never sent anywhere except Notion's servers.
Snapshots — Copies of Notion page content saved by you.
Cached page content (Speed Boost) — Notion page content cached locally to load pages faster. Cleared when you disable Speed Boost or close the tab.
Preferences — Theme (light/dark) and feature toggles (AI Everywhere, Speed Boost, Lock mode).

Data stored in your Notion workspace

The following data is written to your own Notion workspace and is not stored on your device.

VCS history — Commit snapshots, tags, and metadata. This data is not controlled by the developer.
Lock state — When Lock mode is on, the locked status of a page is written to Notion.

Data transmitted to third parties

No user data is transmitted to any third party. The extension communicates only with Notion's own services.
