Overview

Notion Stressless ("the extension") is designed with your privacy in mind. This policy explains what data the extension accesses, stores, and transmits.

The extension's features are: Notion AI Everywhere, Skills, Scheduled skills, AI chat outline, AI credit balance, Speed Boost, Auto-lock pages, and Version Control & Diff View.

In short: the extension does not send your data to the developer or to any third party. It talks only to Notion's own services, and everything it writes is written to your own Notion workspace or kept in your browser.

Data accessed

The extension reads data only when you use a feature, or when you have turned on a feature that works in the background.

About the AI Everywhere button. To show its button, the extension's script is loaded on every website you visit (except Notion itself). It does not read the page, and sends nothing, until you open the panel and send a message. If you turn off Notion AI Everywhere, the button is not shown.

Data stored locally

The following is stored on your device only (browser storage: chrome.storage.local, and session storage for caching). It is never transmitted to any third party.

API key — Stored in obfuscated form. Never sent anywhere except Notion's servers.
Snapshots — Copies of Notion page content saved by you.
Cached page content (Speed Boost) — Notion page content cached to load pages faster. Kept in memory and session storage; cleared when you close the tab or turn Speed Boost off.
Preferences — Theme and feature toggles; the page URLs you last entered for comparison.
Database settings — The URLs of the databases you set up for version control and scheduled skills.
Skill data — A cache of your skill list and the skills you used recently.
Scheduled-run bookkeeping — A random device ID (generated by the extension, used to tell your computers apart), a record of which scheduled runs are done (to avoid running one twice), and a count of today's runs.
